CHANCE 2 DANCE STUDIO’S PRINCESS PILLOWCASE PROJECT
Look at that smile!!!!!

We have completed over 3500 dresses since April of 2011. Dresses have been sent with local missionaries to Haiti, The Dominican
Republic, South America, Africa, Costa Rica, Jamaica and Nicaragua.

We make dresses out of pillowcases, sheets and fabric. These dresses are then taken by local missionary groups to Haiti, the
Dominican Republic and other regions where they are distributed to the poorest of the poor.
We will need seamstresses, cutters, ironers, “designers” and others so anyone can be of help. You can bring your own equipment
and supplies or just bring yourself.
Come for the day or just for as long as you can.

If you can’t come but would like to help by donating supplies, what we need most is extra wide double fold bias tape, ric rac in any
color, other trims and iron on appliqués and ½ wide heavy duty elastic. We will also be happy to accept new or gently used
pillowcases, sheets and cotton fabric for the dresses. Also sizes 3-12 new underpants.

This is an ongoing project and you can get kits to sew at home.

FOR THE BOYS: We would like to extend the project to include boys and will accept new shorts, short sleeved shirts and underwear
for the boys sizes 3-12.
